Unshaped fantasy is a personal project aimed to purposely reduce the body, this complex and heavily depicted symbol, to its essential outlines: shapes, forms, and textures.  Women’s bodies have been the subject of visual narratives for centuries, shaped by pre-established cues, rules and denotations, disabling the viewer to take it in neutrally. Looking into an inner world, inspired by childlike wonder and research through movement and play, I’m inviting the viewer to see the body not only as an object of desire, a meaning that is hard to detach from a female form, but also as a site of curiosity and freedom.
